Online bookmarks allow you to save your favorite webpages so that they are easy to access. They are different from the normal "bookmarks" or "favorites" you might have on your web browser, because you can access your Zoogim.com Online Bookmarks from any computer!

You simply need to go to www.Zoogim.com and log into your account. You will stay logged in until you click on 'logout' on the top of your screen.

How do I create an account?

How do I add a link from my browser to Zoogim.com?

You can add a special link from your web browser to Zoogim.com. This link will allow you to access and add to your Zoogim.com bookmarks very quickly-- we recommend you add it!
To add the link:

On Microsoft Internet Explorer:

Click and hold down your mouse button over the link below:
Drag the link up to the "Links" section of your toolbar (on the right-hand side), and release the mouse button, like below:

Now, by clicking on "Links" button and selecting "Zoogim.com Bookmarks!" from the list, you will be able to easily create new bookmarks at any time!

On Mozilla Firefox and Safari:

Click and hold down your mouse button over the link below:
Drag the link up to the top of your browser, and release the mouse button on your browser navigation bar, like below:

This should create a link (which the arrow in the image above is pointing to). Click on the link you just created to access your Zoogim.com bookmarks at any time!

Managing your bookmarks

How do I add a link from my browser to Zoogim.com?

You can add a bookmarks in one of two ways.

1st way (recommended):

Visit the page you would like to bookmark.
Click on the link to Zoogim.com that you added to your browser (to learn how to add the link click here.)
Click the "Add Bookmark!" button.

2nd way:

Open www.Zoogim.com in your browser.
Type the title and URL of the link you want to bookmark into the purple box at the top of the page.
Click the "Add Bookmark!" button.

How do I open a bookmark?

Once you have logged into your account, and created bookmarks, just click on a bookmark and your browser will open it!

How do I edit a bookmark?

To the right of each bookmarks you have created, there is a small link which looks like this: [edit]. To edit a bookmark:

Click on the [edit] link next to the bookmark you want to edit.
The bookmark information will appear in a green box at the top of your screen.
Edit the information and click the "Edit Bookmark!" button.

How do I delete a bookmark?

To delete a bookmark:

Click on the [edit] link next to the bookmark you want to delete.
Click on the link labelled delete, right below the "Edit Bookmark!" button.

How do I add labels to my bookmark?

To help organize your bookmarks, you can assign each bookmark any number of "labels." Labels can be any word you want, or even more than one word long. To asign labels to a bookmark, simply type them into the field named "Labels:" in the purple box at the top of the screen. You can also change a bookmark's labels when editing its information. To assign a bookmark to more than one label, separate multiple labels by commas.

What are user preferences?

To edit your preferences, click on the link in the top right-hand corner of your screen labelled "preferences". Please read the questions below to learn how you can customize your Zoogim.com bookmarks by editing your preferences.

How do I change my default view?

Your can choose to view your bookmarks in the following ways:

All Bookmarks - view all of your bookmarks in one long list.
All Labels - view all of your bookmarks sorted into the labels you have assigned them.
Both - view all of your bookmarks in one list, and below that, sort all your bookmarks by labels.

Select one of these options in your preferences menu, and then click "Save Changes."

How do I change my default sort?

Your can choose to sort your bookmarks in the following ways:

Alphabetically
By the date you created them

Select one of these options in your preferences menu, and then click "Save Changes."

How do I keep some bookmarks at the top of my list?

You can always keep some bookmarks at the top of your Zoogim.com bookmarks screen. In order to do this you must:

Go into your preferences (by clicking the preferences link on the upper right-hand corner of your screen).
Click the checkbox for "Yes, show 'Always on Top' checkbox."
Click "Save Changes" to save the changes to your preferences.
A box labelled "Always on top" will now appear in the purple box at the top of your screen.
Click this box when adding or editing a bookmark and that bookmark will always be at the top of your list.
You may change your preferences so that the "Always on top" checkbox is not displayed, but the bookmarks you have selected to stay at the top of your list will remain at the top.

How do I have my browser open a new bookmark immediately after bookmarking it?

After you add a new bookmark to your Zoogim.com bookmarks, the page will reload and all of your current bookmarks will be displayed. This allows you to edit your bookmarks, or open any bookmark you wish. However, if you would like to open bookmarks immediately after adding them for the first time, there is an option for this in your preferences. Simply check the box labelled "Yes, open bookmarks immediately after adding," and then click on "Save Changes" to turn on this feature.

How do I temporarily hide sensitive bookmarks?

You can temporarily hide any bookmark with a label. Go into your preferences and click the checkbox on each label you would like to hide. All bookmarks with the labels you select will be hidden until you return to your preferences and uncheck the checkboxes. Even bookmarks you have selected to always appear at the top of your list will be hidden, as long as one of their labels is hidden.
